The MS series of AC small motors is a low-power three-phase asynchronous drive motor specifically developed for light-duty automation and precision light industrial equipment, filling the market gap caused by the unstable power of micro single-phase motors and the bulky size of high-power three-phase motors. Unlike conventional high-horsepower industrial three-phase motors designed for heavy loads, this series emphasizes lightweight construction, precise constant torque, low vibration and quiet operation, strong frequency conversion compatibility, and low power consumption and energy efficiency. It is the standardized and preferred power unit for low-load, high-precision, and long-term continuous operation scenarios.

This product offers a full range of low-power specifications: 0.18KW, 0.25KW, 0.37KW, 0.55KW, and 0.75KW. It adopts a standard 63/71/80 small frame aluminum shell structure, equipped with 100% high-purity copper windings and a precision silicon steel sheet core, and features a standard TEFC fully enclosed air-cooled structure and IP55 advanced protection rating. Supports 220V/380V, 230/400V, as well as customized dual voltage and 50/60Hz global dual frequency adaptive, compatible with direct drive of industrial frequency and speed regulation of frequency converter.

Features

Lightweight aluminum casing design, suitable for tight and precise installation spaces. The entire machine is made of die-cast aluminum alloy in one piece, reducing weight by more than 40% compared to cast iron motors of the same power, resulting in a more compact size. The lightweight body eliminates the burden of installation load, making it perfectly suited for space-constrained scenarios such as embedded small equipment, wall-mounted installation, and mobile light industrial equipment. It balances structural strength with portable installation characteristics, and is corrosion-resistant and not prone to rust or deformation.

 

Native frequency converter compatibility ensures stable and undiminished speed regulation performance. The windings have been specifically optimized for frequency converter operation, compatible with a wide frequency range of 0-50Hz. At low speeds, torque does not collapse, temperature rise does not exceed limits, and there is no whistling or abnormal noise. Unlike ordinary motors that are prone to overheating, vibration, and stalling when using frequency converters, this model can be used with frequency converters for extended periods to achieve precise stepless speed regulation, making it suitable for assembly line speed control, precision machining speed regulation, and flexible transmission applications.

 

High adaptability and versatility, compatible with various supporting equipment components. The shaft diameter, installation tolerances, and output speed of the entire machine strictly comply with national standards, allowing seamless matching with various supporting accessories such as small gearboxes, speed controllers, encoders, and transmission pulleys. It can be assembled into a transmission module without non-standard modifications, adapting to diverse precision transmission solutions. Its strong adaptability to equipment modification and new machine design significantly reduces equipment development and modification costs.

Q1: Are small aluminum-cased motors less durable than cast iron motors?

A1: Aluminum-cased motors are more durable under light-load, precision conditions. Aluminum casings offer higher heat dissipation efficiency, are less prone to rust, and are lighter, making them suitable for long-term operation in light-duty equipment. Cast iron motors are only suitable for heavy-load, impact-based applications. Using cast iron motors in small, precision equipment results in excessive weight, redundant heat dissipation, and higher costs. Aluminum-cased models are the optimal choice.

Q2: Can you customize non-standard structures such as extended shafts and dual output shafts?

A2: We support customization of all categories of non-standard components. For the special needs of precision equipment, we can customize extended output shafts, dual output shafts, non-standard keyway specifications, special flange sizes, and waterproof shaft seal upgrades. We can also adapt to special operating conditions such as low temperature, high temperature, and high humidity, meeting the needs of various non-standard light-duty automated equipment.

Q3: Can MS small three-phase motors be installed in both vertical and horizontal configurations?

A3: Yes, they can be universally adapted. This series supports three mainstream installation methods: B3 horizontal foot, B5 vertical flange, and B35 vertical-horizontal composite. The motor structure has been comprehensively optimized for adaptation. Vertical installation prevents oil accumulation and water leakage, while horizontal installation ensures even stress distribution and no deformation. Installation methods can be freely switched according to the equipment structure without the need for additional modification parts.
