What is a Pivot Motor?

The pivot motor is a dedicated power drive for centrally pivoted circular and translational sprinkler irrigation systems. As the exclusive input power source for the sprinkler gearbox, this motor is a pure electric motor without a reduction gear structure, specifically designed for harsh outdoor environments in large fields. It solves the problems of ordinary industrial motors, such as easy burnout, susceptibility to water and dust, and poor start-stop performance. - Quiet and smooth transmission reduces overall equipment wear and tear.

By optimizing the stator slot shape and winding arrangement, electromagnetic harmonics and operating noise are reduced. Combined with a high-precision dynamically balanced rotor, the entire machine operates with low noise, no high-frequency vibration, and no electromagnetic noise. The uniform and stable power output reduces associated problems such as vibration of the sprinkler tower steel frame, loosening of pipelines, and loosening of fasteners, effectively reducing daily wear and tear and maintenance frequency of the entire irrigation system.
