A DC servo motor is a type of DC motor that can be precisely controlled (including position, speed, and torque) through a closed-loop control system. Its core characteristic is "servoing," meaning it "obeys commands," responding quickly and accurately to control signals and automatically correcting any errors between the actual output and the target value.

• Fast response: Small electromechanical time constant allows for rapid tracking of command signal changes (response time in milliseconds);
