What is a WPO100 gearbox?
The WPO100 belongs to the WP series of single-stage worm gear reducers, featuring a **side-output shaft horizontal base mounting structure** and a 100mm center distance. It is a commonly used right-angle reduction transmission component in medium to large-sized industrial equipment. It achieves speed reduction and torque increase through the sliding meshing of the worm and worm wheel. The high-ratio gears possess mechanical self-locking characteristics, offering high torque capacity, robust structure, and 90° reversing transmission. It is widely used in industrial equipment under medium to heavy-duty conditions.
This product strictly adheres to industry standards for worm gear reducers. The housing is made of HT200 high-strength cast iron, the worm is made of 45# steel with tempering and surface quenching, and the worm wheel is made of wear-resistant tin bronze alloy. Standard specifications are readily available, and custom machining of non-standard shaft diameters, keyways, output directions, and flange interfaces is also supported.
