What is a Single Phase Asynchronous Motor?
Single-phase asynchronous motors (single-phase induction motors) are general-purpose asynchronous motors adapted to 220V single-phase AC mains power. They are also core power devices for civilian equipment, small industrial machinery, and outdoor scenarios without three-phase power. Unlike three-phase motors, which require industrial power supply, single-phase asynchronous motors can start and operate using ordinary household or commercial mains power.
