Roller chains are the most widely used rigid meshing transmission components in industrial transmission systems, consisting of five core structures: outer chain plate, inner chain plate, pin, bushing, and rollers. Relying on the precise meshing of rollers and sprockets, they achieve efficient, stable, and synchronous power transmission. Compared to belt drives, they do not slip; compared to gear drives, they offer a longer range of motion and lower installation and maintenance costs.

Covering national standard models such as 06B, 08B, 10A, 12A, 16A, and 20A, as well as the full range of American and Japanese standard models (ANSI and JIS). Made of high-quality manganese steel, CNC precision stamping ensures accurate pitch and uniform clearance. Smooth operation, low transmission error, and high versatility. Primarily used in light to medium load applications such as automated equipment, packaging machinery, textile machinery, small conveyor equipment, and general transmission equipment.

 

  • High-Strength Heavy-Duty Roller Chains

Thicker high and low chain plates, thicker solid pins, and enhanced overall heat treatment significantly improve tensile strength and impact resistance, effectively solving the problems of excessive tensile stress, breakage, and wear common in ordinary chains under heavy loads. Q1: How to select single-row, double-row, or multi-row roller chains?

A1: For light-load, conventional transmission, and low-load equipment, choose single-row roller chains; for medium-heavy-load conditions requiring increased tensile strength and load-bearing capacity, choose double-row chains; for heavy equipment, ultra-high loads, and continuous impact conditions, choose three-row or multi-row roller chains. Q2: What causes a roller chain to lengthen and loosen after a period of use?

A2: The main causes are normal and abnormal elongation. Slight initial stretching is a normal phenomenon during the break-in period of assembly clearance. Significant elongation and loosening within a short period are often due to an undersized chain, excessive load, insufficient lubrication, or severe sprocket wear. It is recommended to use a standard high-strength chain, perform regular maintenance, and regularly check the sprocket wear.
