The Heli Worm Gearbox-also known as the S-series helical-worm right-angle gear reducer-is a commonly used industrial component for 90-degree power transmission and directional changes. The first stage utilizes helical gears to achieve initial speed reduction and torque multiplication, while the second stage uses a worm gear set to execute a 90-degree output turn. This design balances transmission efficiency with right-angle redirection; unlike single-stage worm gear reducers, it offers superior torque-bearing capacity.
