The parallel-axis helical gear reducer is a standard industrial coaxial gear drive unit. It is a type of modular reducer featuring hardened gear teeth. The input and output shafts are arranged in a parallel, coaxial configuration, meaning the direction of power transmission remains unchanged.
This equipment is primarily used to match motor speeds; it reduces motor speed, amplifies output torque, and buffers operational loads. It is one of the most frequently used types of reducers in automated production lines, conveyor systems, and general machinery.
