Industrial Worm Gearbox
The helical-worm gear reducer is a composite, hard-tooth-surface reduction unit. Combining the characteristics of both helical gear and worm gear transmissions, it is the most widely used 90-degree right-angle reduction drive in industrial automation.
Unlike standard direct-coupled reducers, this unit excels at vertical direction changes, installation in confined spaces, and delivering high torque at low speeds. It can be directly assembled with standard motors, effectively solving common industrial transmission challenges such as layout constraints, power redirection, and heavy-load reduction.
Thanks to its stable performance, cost-effectiveness, and versatility, it has largely superseded traditional, purely worm-gear-based reducers, becoming the mainstream choice for small-to-medium-scale, heavy-load right-angle transmission applications.
